Urge Idaho Senators to Reject the House Reconciliation Bill
The House of Representatives just passed a reconciliation bill with the largest cut in Medicaid history to fund tax cuts for the wealthy and it's now heading to the Senate. This means a loss of billions of dollars to Idaho Medicaid over the next ten years and will cause tens of thousands to lose access to health coverage.
The House Reconciliation Bill has several harmful proposals that will reduce federal funding and add bureaucratic red tape for Medicaid enrollees, such as "work requirements", that has only proven to take health care away when people need it most. This will result in cuts to health benefits and services.
Let Senator Crapo and Senator Risch know you oppose these devastating cuts to Medicaid!

URGENT: Urge Senator Crapo to Protect Affordable Healthcare for Idahoans!
Right now, the Senate Finance Committee is drafting legislation that could determine the future of healthcare access for thousands of Idahoans. Senator Crapo is a key decision-maker on this committee and he has the power to protect both Medicaid and the Enhanced Premium Tax Credits (PTCs) that make Your Health Idaho insurance plans affordable.
If PTCs are allowed to expire:
· 86% of Idaho enrollees will face premium hikes
· Average premiums would jump from $129 to $482/month
· A family of four could pay $6,018 more per year
· Idaho could see 35,000 more people uninsured
· 57,000 fewer Idahoans may enroll in state health insurance plans
Small business owners and rural communities will be hit hardest. Medicaid cuts and red tape will strip coverage from children, seniors, and working families across our state.
Please urge the Senator: Do not move forward with any bill that cuts Medicaid or ends Enhanced Premium Tax Credits. Idaho families are counting on your leadership.
